life decision?

i was talking to an incredible friend of mine last night and actually verbalizing my thoughts helped me out a great deal to figure out what i want to do with my life.

ready?

i want to make music. for a living.
it's never to late to learn, right? i'm willing to take the time to learn it all.
i taught myself how to play guitar, so i really just wanna learn how to play keys, drums, and bass.
i want to be able to do things on my own like r. les. like lenny. like kenna. like pharrell and chad. like markus johnson. these people inspire me to make good music. and i feel like with as wide of a variety of knowledge and influences i have in music, i could make something great, God willing. not even saying that to be conceited. it's just a goal of mine i hope to fulfill.
so i'm going to finish this next semester of calculus i have to take and then that might be the last of school i do.
i'm going to work my butt off and try to get a good Roland like Markus has and teach myself how to play and mess around with that. i taught myself guitar when i devoted myself to it. i feel like i could do that too.
i just want to do something with my life that i love to do. all my friends are making important life choices, and this is mine.
this is what i sit up and think about when i'm not sleeping and laying in bed with my eyes closed.
this is what's constantly on my heart.
but i know that God also spoke in my heart he wants me to speak his word, and i haven't forgotten that. maybe i just need to find a way to incorporate that in what i do.
cuz i'm not hoppin on the Lee University bus. sorry.

i mean i've written two of my own songs. and i like my songs. but it's just me and an acoustic, or me and an electric. and there's so much more potential and things i want to do, but i don't know what to do or how to do what i need in order to express all this ambition inside of me.

so this is the gameplan.
