everybody talks and everybody listens, but somehow the truth just always comes up missin

i was at a bible study not too long ago, and i left it early so I'd get home at a decent hour. as i was leaving, some friends asked me if i wanted to go by wendy's and chill.
why not?
so i hit it up. it's all chill at first. but there's this one girl that's just runnin off at the damn mouth. just won't shut up. Danee's a bitch and Merrinda's a bitch and blah blah blah
not even justifiable arguments. just stating they're bitches in every way possible
so i even try to give this one girl a window to perhaps justify herself.
"i guess i can understand the Danee thing. there was this one time--"
"-Did you call her a bitch!?"
"...?"
and a timid little voice from the girl next to me said,
"i don't necessarily know if that's the Christian thing to do.
Go find Danee and call her a bitch? that's not the smartest thing to do."
and i was shocked. not a lot of people besides me really stand up for what's right in situations like that. i mean on the real.
so from that point on, we was tag teamin that one girl runnin off at the mouth.
"if you came to a bible study to not pay attention and talk, what's the point? that's stupid."
i was glad to be on the bold side that was actually bold for all the right reasons. it was refreshing.
